Four Donations Dubai’s 1 Billion Meals campaign has been launched with the participation of four main donors including Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment
The “100 Million Meals” campaign has launched four simple ways for individuals, businesses, and institutions both inside and outside the UAE to donate.
The campaign, the Arab world’s largest food drive of its kind, aims to provide food parcels to enable disadvantaged individuals and families in 20 countries across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa to prepare their meals during Ramadan.
The goal of the campaign is to provide basic food items enough to prepare up to 100 million meals. Every Dh1 donated will help provide one meal for a beneficiary in Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, Angola, Uganda, and Egypt.
Companies and individuals can make donations of as little as Dh1 via the website, SMS, bank transfer, and call center. Every Dh1 donated will help provide one meal for a beneficiary in Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, Angola, Uganda, and Egypt.

Through the website www.100millionmeals.ae, any individual, institution, company, or businessman from within or outside the UAE can donate the equivalent of any number of meals. People and businesses in the UAE who prefer to text can send “Meal” to the specified Du or Etisalat numbers.
Yusuff Ali, Lulu Group International’s Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We are happy, proud, and privileged to be a part of this great humanitarian initiative. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has rightly said that the best of all charities is to feed a hungry person and the best of all nations is the one that keeps thinking of others.
I pray Almighty Allah to bless the visionary rulers of this great nation with good health and long life to continue to be a blessing to the less-privileged all over the world.”
Lulu Group’s contribution will cover the basic ingredients required to prepare a nutritious meal for disadvantaged families in communities covered by the initiative.
SMS donations begin with a minimum of 10 meals at a cost of Dhs10 by texting the word “Meal” to the number 1034, and progress to a donation of 500 meals at a cost of Dhs500 by texting the word “Meal” to the number 1038. The rest of the figures are available on the campaign’s website.
Local and international contributions can be made by bank transfer to the designated bank account at Dubai Islamic Bank, account number AE080240 001520977815201.
Large monetary donations can be made by calling the campaign’s toll-free number: 8004999. The campaign’s various donation channels enable charitable and humanitarian work during Ramadan to be directed to the communities most in need of support, aid, and relief, as well as to assist them in meeting a basic need, which is access to food.
To ensure food parcels are delivered to the doorsteps of impoverished families, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is collaborating with the United Nations World Food Programme, the Food Banking Regional Network, and charity organizations in beneficiary countries.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Establishment (MBRCH), along with other local and federal entities in the UAE, will support the campaign.
The campaign is part of the UAE’s contribution to global efforts to combat world hunger and malnutrition, as outlined in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
