Moose Wala has run for a seat in the Assembly on a ticket presented by the Congress party in Mansa. A total of 63,323 more votes were cast for Dr. Vijay Singla of the AAP, who ultimately emerged victorious. Moose Wala is a native of Moosa, a hamlet located in the Mansa region. In November of the previous year, he became a member of the Congress amidst considerable excitement. As a result of Congress allocating him a seat in the Mansa Assembly constituency, the incumbent Mansa MLA at the time, Nazar Singh Manshahia, defected from the party and said that he would oppose the controversial singer’s candidacy.
